Throwing my body into old house I found a distorted image

A short experimental collective animation, mixing techniques as paper cut stop-motion and drawing on frames.

Our film, made during two weekends by our group comprising of 3 persons, originated from our collection of analogue black and white photographs, taken in different places around the world.

With this animation, we wanted to convey the feeling of self-fragmentation between places, spaces, countries and identities that ultimately cohabit within ourselves.

The film was made during the “In the realm of Animated Documentary” workshop at the beautiful Sinema Transtopia, independent cinema in Berlin.
