I am a visual anthropologist, video maker and researcher in education through audio visual. Originally from Florence, based in Berlin.

On fall 2021 I have completed the MA course in Visual and Media Anthropology at HMKW (Hochschule für Medien, Kommunikation und Wirtschaft / University of Applied Science), and have been based in Berlin since then.

My educational path has combined humanistic-driven research, field work, video making, and interdisciplinary collaboration with cultural institutions and foundations.

Between 2016 and 2019 I have worked at the educational department of the Fondazione Cineteca di Bologna, on various projects of promoting cinema and audiovisual as an educational medium.

During my Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology at the University of Bologna, I have developed my thesis in Manaus, Brazil, at the Centre of Studies of the Indigenous Amazon (NEAI) of the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) - as a scholarship holder for researchers abroad.

In early 2021 I had the opportunity to complete an internship at the award-winning NowHere Media studio in Berlin, extending my knowledge to the emerging field of immersive documentaries using augmented and virtual reality.

And since September 2021 I work on the media department of the Ethnological Museum of Berlin - part of the Stiftung Humboldt Forum.  From June 2022 I have been an official videographer and contributor of the institution, after six months First as an intern supported by the Euros project (European Mobility Call of the European Social Fund).

My tasks at the Ethnological Museum include creating the institution’s audio visual materials and documenting the various projects curated by the Visual Anthropology section, as also co-representing the department in international events on the field.

With a diverse skillset and a wide range of practical experience within the Anthropology field, I have so far worked on the following subjects: indigenous studies of anthropology / multimedia educational research / digital humanities / environmental anthropology / collective memory / suppressed history archives / teenage culture / techno-nationalism and virtual reality.
